| What does the beginner level offer? The beginner level is for those students who have never played the instrument they select. Typically, this is a younger aged level from age 5-10. These students are taught theory, private instruction, and class ensemble with other instruments of the same level.
Other electives are also offered such as art, beginning piano, drama and dance.
Students are allowed two electives.
Class time is kept to 30-45 minutes in length to allow more breaks and include electives.
| | What does the intermediate level offer? There are three intermediate levels:
1. Beginner Intermediate; these students have played their instruemtns for one year or less.
2. Intermediate: These students have played for 1-3 years.
3. Advanced Intermediate: These students have played for 3-5 years and play at grade 4 level of music.
Classes offered: theory, woodwind ensemble, sight reading, conducting, drama, dance
| | What does the advanced level offer? The advanced levels are for those stduents that perform at the grade 6 level of music. It is a very fast paced level concentrating on:
sight reading, woodwind ensemble music of grade 6 level, theory, conducting, college prep., classes on perfromance anxiety, music composition.
Jazz class is offered as an elective

| | What levels need to prepare an audition? The advanced levels are asked to perform a short audition on the first day of camp to allow for proper placement. Requirements are listed on the registration page.
| | Are students allowed to move up to another level? Always. We highly encourage students in the intermediate levels to move up into the advanced level.
| | How do the students choose their electives? On the first day of camp we explain each elective, and give the students a chance to sample these various electives.
You can choose your electives on the registration form, and after the first day of camp, you can decide if you still want to take the elective that you chose or change to another.
We ask that by the third day of camp all electives are in place.
